Join us for the Third Sunday of Advent (Gaudete Sunday) – at St Thomas’.

Gaudete Sunday invites us to pause in the midst of Advent’s quiet expectation and lift our hearts in joy. Even as we wait for Christ’s coming, we catch a glimpse of the light that is drawing near—light that no darkness can overcome. This Sunday, the rose candle is lit, a sign of hope, renewal, and rejoicing.

In our worship we reflect on Mary’s song of praise and the promise of God’s transforming love. We listen for the voice that calls us to rejoice even when the world feels heavy, and to trust that God is already at work bringing healing, justice, and new beginnings. As we share in Word and Sacrament, we open ourselves to the joy that Christ longs to kindle within us.
