Sunday 1st February 2026 – Parish Family Mass for The Feast of Candlemas.

You are warmly invited to join us for our Parish Family Mass on the Feast of Candlemas, when the Church recalls the presentation of Christ in the Temple — offered to the Father and revealed to his people.

Forty days after celebrating the birth of our Lord, we gather again to rejoice in his coming among us. Recognised by Simeon and Anna as the light and glory of Israel, Christ is made known as the light for all people. In this Eucharist, we hold together both the joy of his coming and the searching call of his judgement,
looking back to his birth and forward to the days of his passion.

During the Mass, candles will be blessed, as a sign of Christ the Light who comes to cleanse, to guide,
and to dwell among his people.
