Dear friends,

You are warmly invited to join us at St Thomas’ this Sunday as we celebrate the Feast of St Mark — a joyful occasion in the life of the Church, giving thanks for the Evangelist who proclaimed the good news of Christ with clarity, urgency, and hope.

St Mark’s Gospel, with its vivid storytelling and sense of immediacy, draws us into the life and ministry of Jesus in a way that is both compelling and deeply human. As we reflect on his witness, we are invited to consider how we, too, are called to share the good news in our own lives — with courage, faith, and love.

In keeping with St Mark’s bold and faithful witness, our readings invite us to seek wisdom, to be guided by God’s living word, to walk as children of light, and to remain steadfast and hopeful even in the face of challenge.

We are especially delighted to welcome our Guest Preacher, Rowland Linder, who will help us explore the significance of this feast and its meaning for us today.
