September is shaping up to be a busy month at St Thomas the Apostle, with opportunities to worship, meet others, enjoy music and film, and get involved in our local community.

Over-50s Bring & Share Lunch

Wednesday 2 September — 12:30pm

Our monthly Over-50s community lunch returns on the first Wednesday of September. Bring something to eat or drink to share and join us for an afternoon of food, friendship and good company.

Pictures by the Park: Charade

Saturday 5 September — 7:15pm for a 7:30pm start

Join us for a screening of the classic Charade, starring Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn.

Admission is £6, with free nibbles provided. Please bring your own drinks.

The evening is in aid of the St Thomas’ Hall Renovation Fund.

Back to School Sunday

Sunday 6 September — 10am

At our Parish Family Mass we will be praying for and encouraging local pupils, students, school staff, families, carers and guardians as the new academic year begins.

Children and young people are especially invited to bring their school bags or equipment with them for a special blessing.

Everyone is welcome.

Youth Choir Club

Fridays, 6:30–7:15pm

Our free Youth Choir Club gives children the opportunity to learn to sing with our community choir in the English Choral Tradition.

September sessions take place on 11, 18 and 25 September, continuing on 2, 9, 16 and 23 October.

Confirmation

Sunday 20 September — 10am

On the Feast of Matthew, Apostle, we will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation at our Parish Mass.

Please join us in prayer and thanksgiving as Benedict, Tobias, Leo and Oliver receive the Laying on of Hands and Confirmation.

The service will be conducted by The Rt Revd Lusa Nsenga-Ngoy, Bishop of Willesden.

One Night Only — Live Music

Saturday 26 September — 8:00–10:00pm

Get ready to dance!

Local six-piece pop and rock covers band One Night Only will perform some of the biggest hits from the 1960s through to the 2020s.

Sing along, dance the night away and enjoy a great evening of live music. A pay bar will be available.

Tickets: Adults £10 | Children £5

All proceeds go towards the St Thomas’ Hall Renovation Fund.
