Sunday 18 October 2026: Parish Mass for Generosity Sunday & Week – “All Things Come From You”.

You are warmly invited to join us as we reflect on the generosity of God and our calling to respond with thankful and open hearts. Our Scriptures remind us that everything we have comes from God: in Chronicles, King David gives thanks for the gifts freely offered by his people; the Psalm declares that the earth and all within it belong to the Lord; St Paul encourages us to give cheerfully and generously; and in St Luke’s Gospel, the poor widow’s offering of two small coins reveals that true generosity is measured not by how much we give, but by the love, faith and trust with which we offer it.

Together, these readings invite us to see generosity as more than financial giving. It is a way of discipleship rooted in gratitude, expressed through love, service, hospitality and care for creation, and fulfilled in offering ourselves wholeheartedly to God. As we pray during Generosity Week, we ask for grace to “dream generous dreams” and to allow the blessings we have received to become a blessing to others.

Whether you are a regular member of our congregation, visiting for the first time, or simply curious about the Christian faith, you will receive a very warm welcome.

We look forward to welcoming you.
