Thursday 4 June 2026 – Corpus Christi

____________________________________________

You are warmly invited to join us at St Thomas’ for our Parish Mass on The Day of Thanksgiving for the Institution of Holy Communion (Corpus Christi).

On this special feast, we gather in worship to give thanks for the gift of the Eucharist, the sacrament in which Christ continues to nourish, strengthen, and unite His people. Corpus Christi is a joyful celebration of Christ’s abiding presence among us, revealed in the breaking of the bread and shared at His table.

As we hear God’s Word, offer our prayers, and celebrate Mass, we are invited to reflect on the profound mystery of Christ’s self-giving love. In the Sacraments, we encounter the Lord who feeds us with heavenly grace and sends us out to be His presence in the world.

This feast reminds us that the Eucharist is at the heart of the Church’s life and mission — drawing us into deeper communion with God and with one another, and inspiring us to live lives of faith, service, and charity.

Whether you are a regular member of our congregation, returning after some time away, or simply seeking a place of prayer and welcome, you are most warmly invited to join us.

Come as you are, and share with us in worship, thanksgiving, and fellowship as we celebrate the gift of Christ’s Body and Blood this Corpus Christi.

“I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live for ever.”
(John 6.51)
