Sunday 24th May 2026 – Parish Mass for the Feast of Pentecost & Whit Sunday.

____________________________________________

You are warmly invited to join us at St Thomas’ for our celebration of Pentecost and Whit Sunday at the 10am Mass, as we give thanks for the gift of the Holy Spirit poured out upon the Church — renewing and empowering God’s people for witness and service in the world.

Pentecost reminds us that the Spirit of God is alive and at work among us today, bringing hope, unity, courage, and new life to all who seek Christ. As the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit and sent out in joy, so we too are called to live faithfully and boldly as followers of Jesus.

In our readings, prayers, and worship, we will reflect upon the transforming power of the Holy Spirit and the good news of God’s love for all people.

We are also delighted to welcome our guest speaker, Carol Miller from USPG, who will share something of the Church’s mission and ministry around the world.

Following Mass, please do stay and join us for our Pentecost Picnic as we continue our fellowship together in a spirit of joy and celebration. Please bring something to eat to share and, if possible, something to sit on. Some chairs and blankets will be available, but you are encouraged to bring your own picnic blanket or chair if you can.

We look forward to celebrating together as the St Thomas’ community with good food, fellowship, and time together in the park after Mass.

Whether you are a regular member of our congregation or simply seeking a place of prayer, peace, and community, you are most welcome.

Come as you are, and join us in worship and fellowship this Pentecost and Whit Sunday.
